Immigration Law

We have specialist immigration solicitors, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and accredited by the Law Society (IAAS), who provide advice and services in all areas of UK immigration with a proven track history. We are based in Manchester and provide our services under both private fee paying and Legal Aid public funding (where the client qualifies under our awarded Legal Aid Agency contract). Our immigration lawyers have helped hundreds of clients secure their visas, leave to remain, indefinite leave to remain (ILR) settlement or EEA / EU immigration status in the UK.

Please visit the links on this page for more details on our personal, Business and private immigration and Legal Aid immigration services.

We have lawyers fluent in several languages including Arabic, Urdu and Punjabi.

Why Use Us?

Whether you are an individual with a private or family immigration query (see common types of applications and cases below) our immigration solicitors and immigration lawyers are ready and able to help whether private or under Legal Aid. Our thorough and expert advice will help you decide what course of action is best and will most likely achieve your objective. You will have the assurance and benefit of our extensive experience in this dynamic area of law.

Immigration Applications Services

Our expert immigration solicitors will take the time to check that there are no issues in your application and we collaborate with you in delivering solutions that achieve your individual objectives. We will advise you on the UK immigration legal requirements, the specified documents and evidence to support your application, the correct application forms, any applicable fees and the time-frame for reaching a decision on your application. In addition, we will draft detailed legal representations in support of your application to advocate on your behalf and demonstrate to the decision maker how your evidence and circumstances satisfy the requirements of the relevant laws. We will also address any deficiency or weakness in your application to avoid an unnecessary bad decision.

Once we perfect and submit your application, we will keep you updated with any relevant developments in law or any contact or correspondence we receive from the Home Office. We will also form a communication link between you and the Home Office (UK Visas and Immigration) to alleviate any stress while the application is under consideration.

Applications Processing Time-frame

Our immigration solicitors can prepare and submit your urgent applications within any deadline which could be within hours. We typically complete and submit your non-urgent immigration application within 1-2 weeks of receiving your instructions and documents.

Home Office Processing Times are not within our control and vary depending the type of your application and the Home Office workload.

Immigration Appeals – Judicial Review Services

In the event that your application is refused our immigration solicitors will advise you whether you have the right to have the refusal reconsidered either by the Home Office under the Administrative Review Rules or by the First Tier Tribunal (and if necessary the Upper Tribunal or Court of Appeal) through the appeal process. It may also be possible that the adverse decision can only be challenged by a different legal process known as Judicial Review which is under the jurisdiction of either the Upper Tribunal or the High Court.

Applications are often refused due to lack of specified evidence, failure to follow procedure, inadvertent error in the application form or misunderstanding or oversight by the decision maker. Whatever the case may be, our immigration lawyers are equipped with the necessary expertise and resources to analyse the decision and advise you on the best course of action. If legally appropriate, we would be open to your instruction to fight on your side to advocate and plead and intercede on your behalf (whether by Appeal or Judicial Review) towards obtaining a new and favourable decision.
